Bridesburg is the story of a working class, single parent family living in “Bridesburg,” an industrial neighborhood in Philadelphia, PA. The director and I worked on creating a landscape that gave hope, and yet still highlighted the challenges of their lives – the stresses placed on a family where everyone is simply tired. The car passing cues were used as transitional elements, and their implicit motion across the stereo field was quite important in helping us believe the world of the play.
